About the Rescues:
GWP Rescue Inc (USA) is run by Mary Murray in the USA. GWP Rescue Inc is a Public Charity formed to help GWPs in need. Dedicated to the Rescue and Rehabilitation of GWPs in need. The GWP rescue problem in the USA is unfortunately a much bigger issue in the UK and Mary has a constant battle to raise funding for so many GWPs in need. GWPs are found in ‘Puppy Mills’ in the USA and GWP Rescue Inc have rescued and rehabilitated back to health a number of GWP litters/littermates from puppy mills. GWPC Rescue is the rescue service provided by the breed Club for GWPs in need of homes in the UK. Like GWP Rescue Inc all funding and donations received by the GWPC Rescue is used to assist GWPs needing homes. GWPC Rescue assists around 40+ GWPs a year who are requiring homes due to being abandoned, founds as strays or when their owners circumstances change. Abandoned GWPs in Ireland are a problem, due to there being no facility in Ireland for rehoming GWPs – GWPC Rescue often assists in finding these dogs new homes.
